Oasis App is complementary to the existing contact tracing apps and the overall measures adopted by governments in an attempt to prevent the spread of the virus!
Oasis engages with you and the public in getting additional information on potentially affected citizens who the healthcare organisations cannot currently reach or trace. You can volunteer to identify and indicate, the place & time where you may have crossed paths with a Covid-19 patient. Help the Public Health volunteers and organizations to plan better, take necessary actions to break the chain of transmission & contain the spread.
With OASIS, you can check before visiting a place (such as a bakery, church, library, bank, clinic, etc.) if any Covid-19 confirmed patients have recently visited the location. You can also check if any COVID-19 positive case was reported on a date and time that you visited the locations. Oasis leverages the power of the Crowd to contribute to the current efforts to minimize the spread of Covid-19 and to help flatten the curve by joining the effort in Reverse Contact Tracing
When you get tested and receive a positive diagnosis, you can help others stay safe by sharing your private movement log - voluntarily and anonymously! We do not track in any continuous or invasive manner to collect this data. The app only records anonymous movement location provided by the citizen & only shares this information if the citizen,diagnosed with Covid-19, provides consent.
With Oasis, you can keep a private personal log of where you’ve been to. You can record only those locations that you want in your private log. We do not track your location to collect this data. We do not store data unless it is volunteered. If volunteered, the system stores only the anonymous private personal movement log that is recorded by the citizens.
